Karijini National Park, which forms part of the Hamersley Ranges of the Pilbara region in the north-west of Western Australia, is one of my favourite parks and spots in WA, or the whole of Australia. The gorges and the colours of the sky, rock formations, and soil are just breathtaking. And swimming in the clear but cold waterways that run through the gorges like Fern Pool is safe for once as there are no crocodiles around either:-)
