Purple Enamel Orchid | Western Australia
The Purple Enamel Orchid (Caladenia brunonis) stands out against the other native Australian orchid species because of its five shiny purple flower petals. It’s quite a common and widespread orchid species in Western Australia but I still get excited every time I spot one. And I got excited about this exemplar because of the four different flower stems, which I hadn’t seen before.
