Fascinating Wild Flora and Fauna of Australia

I just love Australia’s, especially the fascinating wild flora and fauna of Australia. I dare say there is probably no other place in the world where you find soooo many different species of wildflowers like in Australia (but I am fine to be proven wrong). And that’s really surprising given that most of the continent is a desert, but maybe it’s just Mother Nature’s way of telling us how resilient she is. Who knows? (Maybe I do need to ask a botanist at some stage ;-)).

The same can be said for Australia’s wildlife. Where else in the world do you find Black Cockatoos, jumping macropods (commonly referred to by Australians as roos), whales, dolphins, some of the most poisonous spiders and snakes in the world, and the list goes on and on?

I am showing you a variety of my favourite wildflowers and wild animals here that I was lucky enough to get a good shot of, but I will keep trying, for my sake and yours ;-)
