Rediscovered Wild Flora & Fauna of Europe

Europe is an interesting place when it comes to its flora and fauna. It is hard to tell, at least for someone like me who is not an expert in botany and biology, what’s endemic or what species have been introduced over time and adapted to the local environment, or possibly even overtaken what has been there before. And most of Europe is so built up that it is not an easy task to find undisturbed places where wildflowers grow and wildlife exists. Unless you live in a place like Romania where there are about 8,000 bears freely roaming around, not that I ever wish to meet one! But I suppose you just have to look closely (excluding the bears and wolves etc.) to find them, which can sometimes happen in the most unexpected places.
